Reaching Our Mission Objectives
The steep rise in Food prices is one of the biggest challenges that we are face today. This challenge cannot be underestimated and poses a serious threat to alleviation of poverty and human survival especially in developing countries which have large population growth. The gap between supply and demand is increasing gradually. Local Governments, National and International Organizations are working closely with the farming community to increase the Agriculture production to meet the huge demand.
In developing countries, it has been estimated more than 30% of the produce loses its commercial value due to improper handling methods, inadequate temperature controlled storage facilities and improper logistics and distribution systems adopted before it reaches the market. Value Chain investments are necessary to preserve the perishable items before they reach the market and consumer. The role of private sector investments in the value chain projects are essential and it needs encouragement. we focus our work in the below area 1. Private and Public Sector Agri business investment Guidance 2. Value chain process and Project Design 3. Agri business Innovation 4. Capacity building to Farmers Association.
